Car hire in UK for 24 year old female

Son's fiancees car is not worth repairing. She needs to hire a small car for a few weeks until she qualifies for a car through work. (She has just started working for a LA, and once she has finished her probationary period, is eligible for their car scheme.)

Does anyone know if any companies will hire a car to a 24 year old. Enterprise don't.

Any help would be appreciated.

    All hire cars to 24 year olds.

    A few weeks will be expensive. £15 a day?

    Use public transport, Or buy a cheap banger. Anything falls off just duck tape it back on and ignore the noises. As long as the tyres/brakes are good there is oil and water in the engine, And it starts when you need it.

    Yeah loads of places as joolz says. I'm 21 and was vaguely considering hiring a van a few weeks ago, I found several places that would do it. One generally needs to have held a full licence for a couple of years though.
