Last year I had to spend a month in Edmonton, Canada. Back then hotels.com gave £10 per booking through quidco, scored £320 cashback! I told the receptionist at check in and they were fine about it except I had to move rooms two weeks in to the stay for some reason, never found out why but I was not complaining. Hotels.com not longer give £10 cashback :-(

If it's the Travelodge in CENTRAL Cardiff near the railway station do watch out for rooms facing the main road with windows that don't close fully and/or secondary-glazing installed the wrong way around so the seals seal air, while leaving the gaps open <durh!>.

And avoid the rooms right at the back of the hotel as there was a weekend disco back there - although from your dates you'll miss that.

I stayed there a couple of years back and clearly their maintenance programme/management at that time was seriously flawed and previous customers had clearly not complained enough. It was only the 4th room I was allocated that I was prepared to stay in!

Brilliant information.I don't want to go too far off topic, but maybe a thread on management and lack of repairs at Travelodge could be an idea on here.
I do get the feeling that it won't be too long before certain posters say
'you get what you pay for'.But let's also give Travelodge praise .
I'm off to start the thread

I know there is a thread for £15 a night stay at Travelodge but thought I could help more MSE's by posting this.
Here's how I got 3 nights for £34.20p. Quidco are paying £3.60 cashback for each booking. I wanted to stay in Cardif for 3 nights, instead of booking 3 nights on 1 booking I booked each night on seperate transactions.
    Booking 1) Sep 30th cost £15 via Quidco £3.60 cashback = £11.40
    Booking 2) Oct 1st cost £15 via Quidco £3.60 cashback = £11.40
    Booking 3) Oct 2nd cost £15 via Quidco £3.60 cashback = £11.40
Hey presto !!!!!!!!! TOTAL COST for 3 nights £34.20.
There are loads of rooms left, happy booking

    Hi
As these are linked nights do you think that you will get 3 x £3.60 payouts?Hoping they don't class it as one booking at the same hotel.
Well done for posting this and good luck if you do get it successfully paid after tracking.

I booked 3 nights in a hotel in London via pigsback as single bookings. They kept us in the same room and I got 3 x 500 = 1500 points (£15 cashback).

As long as you let them know at check-in, then they'll most probably keep you in the same room.
  • but booking them all seperately would make them seperate bookings, meaning you would have to swap rooms every nite as they hotel will see them as seperate bookings
    Maybe not.

I had situation last year. Two consecutive bookings, same lodge, one cheap rate, one full. When I checked in the firrst nite, they recognised that I had two back to back bookings and I had the same room throughout.

Yes I'm sure will get 3 seperate payouts as I have 3 seperate confirmations and receipts for the 3 payments

can we do this for other locations?

Sure Spikey, I have also booked 2 nights in Tiverton, got the same outcome. 3 nights Cardiff, 2 nights Tiverton, that's 5 x £3.60, saving £18.00 Brill!!

tried this both yesterday and today. Booked each day seperately but only £7.20 tracked - (£3.60 yesterday and the same again today). Perhaps they only pay one lot of commision per day now?
