CPC quietly cancel orders without telling you

I've ordered 2 electrical items from CPC in the last 3 weeks. After waiting 3 weeks for the first one to be delivered I logged into their website to check the status and it had been cancelled by them (presumably due to stock unavailability). At no point did they bother to tell me, so I could have waited forever for it to arrive.
I then ordered another item to replace it (a different one), and when I checked their website to check the order status it too had been cancelled. Once again I had not been notified.
Has anyone else had this experience with CPC? As far as web retail outlets go it's pretty rubbish.

  • Have you phoned customer services to ask?
    It's possible that they're sending emails to advise and you're not receiving them

    Yes, and I've never received anything from CPC - even to confirm receipt of the order. Ironically I did receive a welcome letter and brochure in the post, which didn't mention my order at all.

    I've used CPC for years and always found their customer services excellent. it sounds like there is a setup error on your account

    Maybe you mistyped your email address perhaps?
  • You get an order confirmation via email.
    Someone's mis typed their email address :)
