Breakdown cover
Hi. Four of us in household and drive a number of cars. In past have always bought family cover with RAC through Tesco Clubcard. This year it is £90 of vouchers. RAC are quoting £237 in cash. Any advice? Would go elsewhere but would need to be sure coverage in area is good.

Do you have the flexibility to buy cover for one or two of you in any vehicle and then, if someone breaks down, you could go to the breakdown and phone the breakdown service. This won't work if some of you regularly travel long distances and/or your work commitments would prevent being able to do this.Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End

If you were paying cash then you could phone them and haggle on the price. But paying with vouchers means they are not getting the full value of the policy anyway.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
