My sister has a pc running windows 7 home premium. She does not use a password, just clicks the enter arrow to right of password box when prompted for one logging on. (She had it set up like that to avoid forgetting it, which she regularly did...)
She had some trouble with her mouse freezing yesterday and in fiddling around to reset it, thinks she inadvertantly hit "lock" on windows screen.
Now she cannot open windows as it is prompting for the password, but she does not have one. Hitting the right arrow as she usually does, is not working.
How can you unlock a pc which is prompting for the password, when there was never one in the first place. What is is expecting? Any suggestions?
