Car Breakdown Ins Query
I will be borrowing my dads spare car shortly for a while (Im on the insurance) and wanted to get a Breakdown Cover put on the car, the car belongs to my dad should it be in his name or mine or because they take the cars details it doesn't matter who pays etc.....

Depend who it is. Some companies cover the car, some over services which cover the driver in any car.
Best just to ask them really0 -
Look at AutoAid. It's the person covered driving any car and also includes spouse.
It's an insurance breakdown cover so you pay all costs related to breakdown then claim it back. In my experience, you pay on credit card and have the cheque for expenses paid from AutoAid before the credit card is due for payment.
Only around £39 a year if I remember correctly.0
