Just for Info:
You can log on to Nationwide Internet Banking, but what a surprise.
You may find you accounts have vanished.
They have a 'technical problem' at this time, and don't know how long it is going to take to fix.
Call them at your peril, it's one very long queue.
Hope this helps

This is a well known issue. Amazing they still haven't fixed this.
Your account(s) will re-appear before long, but you might wish to register your displeasure in a formal complaint to Nationwide.0 -
Problem resolved.
It's back to normal (for me anyway).0 -
Not for me it's not, I can only see my credit card none of my other accounts.
I shall be registering my disapproval. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
wow, thank god for this site. Was messing myself for a minute.
Hopefully will all be sorted soon )find a deal....pass it on :beer:0 -

This is illustrative of why we all should have more than one bank account with independent information technology.
My Nationwide only shows the mortgage. I did most of my bank house keeping yesterday. There is more work in the pipeline as their faster payments system is scheduled to be 'maintained'.Due to essential maintenance between 26th and 29th September Faster Payments will be delayed 01:00 to 03:30 Thursday and unavailable 22:00 Friday to 09:00 Saturday and 22:00 Saturday to 09:00 Sunday. We apologise for any inconvenience.
Edit Nationwide have changed their message to:-Due to essential maintenance outbound Faster Payments will be queued and inbound payments rejected 22:00 Friday 27 to 09:00 Saturday 28 and 22:00 Saturday 28 to 09:00 Sunday 29 September. We apologise for any inconvenience.0 -

Thanks for the above link.
It's still worth trying to log on though as individual accounts seem to come back at differing times, although this link shows online banking unavailable.0
