Repeat FD incentive

Hi
post #690 from Yorkshire Boy reminded me of something I had in mind since my FD account passed its 6th birthday.
I wonder whether what is said by YB meams that such a repeat is unlikely? If any of the ahead-of-the-game MSEs have tried already, I'd appreciate some feedback.
Thanking you in advance,

FD have extremely long memories and although I can't put my finger on them at the moment, there are posts on here where people have returned to FD after 8-10 years only to find they're ineligible for the incentive because of an e-saver or ISA they had back then that has been long closed.43580

I imagine the only way you'd get a repeat incentive from First Direct is if you move house, and then wait for (three?) years (as you have to put (three?) years' address history on the application).
In this case, they won't have any way of tying up that you are the same person who used to live at XYZ address.0 -

Errrrm - if you had an ISA with them, they'll have your NI number. They'll also have your date if birth.
I suppose the only way for the OP to find out is to apply, but my money is on FD finding them out.0 -

Other than the CRAs will give them linked address for 6 years, in theory but in practice it'll be longer due to slow reporting of some of your prior FIs.
Even with just the name and dob match it may trigger additional checks to be made.0
