Congratulations. However, how are you going to use this time to get better? I find it so sad that someone as young as you is trapped in a life of benefits, too anxious and depress to get on with it normally. You were off for 2 years and clearly didn't get better during this time. What are you going to do this time to get better?
My post is not intended to be patronizing. I have worked with young people like you as well as older people who had done nothing of their lives because of stress and anxiety, feeling much worse, hopeless and even more unhappy and depressed. They relied on benefits all their lives, thought it made their life better by relieving the stress of having to work, but all it i did is make them complacent and never got better.
I really hope you won't fall under this trap and really use the time you are off having to work and look for work to focus on tackling stress and depression. You don't have to suffer it forever, but you will need to help yourself by facing your fears and emotions. I do wish you good luck, there is a big huge world out that is full of wonders, and work can bring a lot of satisfaction and good feelings and opens up to other opportunities.0 -

I understand. I'm currently a few weeks into my antidepressants and antianxietys and I'm setting goals for the future with the people around me. I'm also starting therapy soon, once they've a place for me. I'm not using benefits as a solution, but a crutch to help me get a step up whilst I fix what I need to. I look forward to the day I can work and be more independent.
Thanks for the well-wishes.0 -

It's far from commuting on a daily basis.0
