My tariff is not listed on your website

Hi, How can I compare a price when my E.ON WarmAssist fixed tariff is not listed on the comparison site? Thanks, George.

  • Hi George

Our Warm Assist tariff wasn't available to everyone. It was restricted to customers who met certain requirements like age.

As such, it didn't appear on the comparison websites.

You can still use the comparison sites, though. Just pop in your usage in kWh. This will let you see the costs of the various tariffs currently available, both with us and with the other suppliers.

However, to compare with Warm Assist, you'll then need to manually compare these results with your annual spend with us.

Hope this helps George. Give me a shout if you need any more info as happy to help.

  • I'm on the warm assist from Eon and I've not found any tariff cheaper.

Whenever the power companies phone up to get me to change to them and I tell them what tariff I am on the usually say they can't beat it.

Except for one company who said their service was better than Eon and I should switch to them and pay over £100 more because of it.
Getting forgetful, if you think I've asked this before I probably have. :rotfl:

As above. Use any tariff as your current one. You already know what Warm Assist costs. The point of a comp site is to get the comparative data.

I'm intrigued as to how the result of this poll will turn out.

I have an elderly relative on the Warm Assist Fixed tariff and you will not be able to compare directly on any comparison website with this tariff. However as Malc advised you can look at your last renewal letter for your energy consumption for the previous year. Its listed on page 6 of the renewal if i remember rightly. Put these figures into the comparison website and select a bog standard Eon tariff. Ignore the savings messages as your not comparing the tariffs directly and note the estimated annual spend figures for all the best tariffs. As Warm Assist Fixed is a fixed monthly spend for 12 months, just multiply your monthly spend by 12, then you can compare with the annual figures of all the other tariffs.
It's a bit more legwork than with other tariffs and i would triple check your figures just to make sure, when i last compared my relatives figures, they were receiving a discount of over 25% on this tariff in relation to the cheapest tariff on the market at the time
