Seagate expansion drive was slwoing down windows 7 shutdown.

Hi folks,

I have had a Seagate 1TB expansion drive must be going on for 4 years now, went wrong once but they replaced it ok.

My windows 7 has always been very slow when shutting down, hard disk light would flicker for a while then a long time of no activity, but windows would finally shut down maybe after a few mins.

Just discovered its the Seagate drive that is causing it, something to do with sleep/wake function, others have had the same problem.

Seems to be a good fast shutdown now since I disconnected it.
