in Credit cards
Quick question, apologies if this is deemed a bit dumb but anyway....
I have an Aqua card, I have had for 6 months and pay off in full each month.
This month I was desperate for cash and broke the rule withdrawing most of what was left on my card. I was then charged, as i am aware happens when taking cash from CC's.
This charge took me 12p over my credit limit- i was charged the £12 fee for breeching my credit limit same day. I paid this within 12 hours of realising what i had done.
does this affect my credit rating?

You don't have a 'credit rating' so the answer is no. It will not be reported on your credit file assuming you get withn your limit quickly although Aqua will have it on their internal records.
You will now miss out on any cashback (if you have this as part of your account) you would have been due. Give them a call, apologise and they may refund it/reinstate cashback as a one off.0 -
Your credit cards only provide a once a month snapshot of the state of your account. As long as the data extract for that month didnt happen to occur during the period you were over your limit then it'll not appear on the Credit Reference Agencies and so not impact your credit rating.
It will impact your internal rating with the card issuer however.0
