    Yes, indeed. Particularly as it seems from other posts on this forum, that at the oath swearing, an executor who has taken the lead, can simply swear that they have informed the others.
    In which case, they become hostage to the others .... Only a fool would swear falsely on something like this where they could so easily be caught out.
    You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'

    The notes which you have to sign alongside the oath require the notice given to the other executors to be in writing, so there needs to be some evidence

    A says B and C stood down. B and C say they did not.

    I would take B and C's testimony of their own position over A's oath on B and C every time if A cannot produce anything in writing from B and C
