Did you actually try to get a refund before the event occurred, and more importantly can you prove this? As it stands, the event is over and you simply haven't used two tickets. That isn't their fault, nor would it necessarily be seen as a mistake on your part if you can't show that you made a concerted effort to get a refund before the event.0

hi timb
the show was on the friday night. i phone the box office at 11 am friday morning. i asked for customer services but told no one was there. they told me to email customer services explaining what had happened. i did this right away
here is the email i sent them
" I booked 2 tickets last night for the horne section this evening. the website was faulty because when i confirmed my order i did not get shown a confirmation page with reference number.
instead i got the message "basket is empty" so i went thru process again, and again got told basket empty. it was only later when i checked email that i realised i had purchased 2 lots of 2 tickets. so ive bought 4 but only needed 2
the 2 tickets i dont need are ref 180436186
im disappointed that no one was available on phone to del with this
my number is 07796 xxxxxx0 -
they have also said the onus is on me to demonstrate their website was faulty rather than for them to show there was a problem at my end0
