Some credit agreements not showing and an arrears indicator with BT!

Could anyone help please. I have just obtained by Credit Report from Experian as requested by my mortgage lender (new mortgage application in process) and it shows that my address is my previous home even though I'm on the Electoral role. It also fails to show a loan that I currently have with Tesco and no mortgage details are on there. How can the information be so wrong especially when the Building Society want to see it - it doesn't even show the credit that I've declared on my application form! Because of the discrepancies I obtained a credit report from Equifax and that was even worse as it shows an arrears payment with BT that is incorrect. My account with BT is entirely up to date as I've just checked online? Can anyone help with how I can rectify this as I fear my mortgage is now at stake?
Many thanks

The accounts should still show at a linked address. Mine used to on Equifax until I asked them to update my address. Do they on yours? If so just ask them to update your address. At one stage I had all accounts at a linked address til I got them to make it my current one.
As for BT, ring them and get them to correct it. They can do it quickly should they feel inclined. Is the account in arrears yours? Check account number if on there. You could print out BT statements to show your mortgage provider.:beer:0 -
Thanks happy_bunny.
I updated my address yesterday and it has updated overnight. The change of address must also have triggered something else as all my credit accounts are now showing on my report - I'm very relieved that part of it is sorted. Now for BT - I'll be ringing them later today to see what they have to say for themselves!0 -
Glad you've now got a full Experian report. When you access your report it will only ever show entries registered at the addresses you've confirmed are yours, so if you're using CreditExpert you do need to check from time to time that your member profile is up to date.
