Cheap new boiler needed

Hello. I currently have a very old floor mounted boiler in 2 bedroom flat. Due to its age, having noisy water tanks in bedroom and lack of enough hot water we are looking to replace it. Ideally we would have a pay monthly deal. We are with EDF who do not install boilers. I have also heard about "Green deals" but as we both work full time I do not think we would be eligible. I would be grateful for some advice or recommendations. Thank you

The Green Deal has nothing at all to do with your employment status. Eligibility depends on a site survey, which you are charged for. However it's a loan scheme, not a grant scheme.
If you need to finance the install, it's better to arrange a bank or personal loan yourself.

Having recently looked into the green deal situation for a relative I have to say it is an expensive way to finance a boiler installation.

The only advantage that I can see is that you do not pay a deposit up front, your bills stay the same, ie, you get no saving until the installation is paid of, and given the hefty interest rate and the long energy saving payback time, it actually costs rather than saves.
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed
