Laminate - Water Leak

Hi All!
Looks like thje washing machine has been leaking (slowly) onto & seeping under the nlaminate floor, as it's lifting at joints in places.
Only been down 9months & we've done the WHOLE flat, BEFORE the new skirting!!
It is expemsive & waterproof, but obviously mot supposed to have this much water on it!
Not wanting to pull it up, as the green underlay doesn't appear affected, so is it likely to dry & go back down naturally.
Or am I expecting too much?
Thanks in advance.
VB

your house insurance may pay out.
When i was working in a house, the owner had a leak onto laminate, and i suggested a dehumidifier to remove all the water.
It worked very well.go on, adopt a greyhound

I agree with handyman.
My sister had a flood in her kitchen and all of the boards were well and truly goosed. I went to have a look and priced up some new laminate, but due to my job it took me a few weeks before I could do the job. A few days before I was due to get the stuff she called me and said not to bother as it had dried out completely and gone back to how it was originally
I was shocked, but it was true, it was as if there had never been a flood!0 -
I remember a builder friend telling me to 'iron' the joins where they have come up (lay a tea towel down first though). Apparently it works, but never tried it so couldn't say for sure. Maybe worth a try?C Card £5218.68 (Feb 2011)£2 coins (No 085) - £190Mort overpayments 2011 - £418.060

Take photos just incase it does turn out to be an insurance job, then leave them to dry out naturally, when we had a leak ours wnt back perfectly after a couple of weeks, the only thing you'll lose if it doesn't is a couple of weeks waiting to see.0
