Parts Ripoff ?

I ordered some motorparts for a hedge trimmer back in July they didn’t arrive until the 4thSept (after many phone calls) but I was on holiday so it was taken in by aneighbour unchecked, now I have opened it one of the main items I’vebeen charged for isn’t there and the company is laughing down the phone sayingit isn’t there problem, is there anything I can do.

  • How did you pay? How much was the total order?

Ultimately write a letter of complaint to them that the parts were missing and if its cost effective consider using the small claims court or a S75 claim against your credit card if you paid by CC and total order was over £100

For a S75 claim to be considered, it is not the total value of the order that must be over £100 but the value of the individual item in question.

Yes, sorry was talking to someone about capital purchases under the flat rate scheme where the total invoice price is what matters not the item values and got mixed up. Obviously cant multitask so well these days
