Hi,
I am trying out baby led weaning which my DS loves but he's so messy! I leave him on a shower curtain but he ends up with food all over him, especially his legs. It's a bit too cold to leave him naked so I was looking for something that has the coverage of a snowsuit but a waterproof bib type material.
Do they exist??

Hi, I don't know about waterproof onsies (I can't imagine they'd be very comfy) but what about getting a pack of cheap normal ones or using any that are currently stained/you don't like and just keep them for feeding time? Then when you wash them out, it won't matter if the stains don't come out properly.0

I did BLW and haven't had that problem. Is he trying to feed himself soup?!Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession

we are BLW and just use a "pelican" bib - catches nearly everything with a plastic sheet on the floor for everything else. We roll DD's sleeves up and that more or less sorts any mess out.0

Weaning ought never to be anything but baby led! Finger foods when the baby starts to reach for them is how to start and do not expect a baby to be able to use cutlery too quickly.0

i just use a big bib and then a muslin tucked over the lap under the highchair tray0

An old t shirt or jumper and a pair of old or cheap jogging pants, keep them on the high chair and pop over his clothes before he eats.
Rinse through after last meal, pop on radiator to dry.
Rinse and repeat.I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0 -
I used to just strip to vest and use a catch-all bib. I have seen long sleeved bibs, that's also an idea.0
