Hi All,
I am looking to create an Application Form document, which I can email to applicants, they can type their info into and email back. I use word templates myself, but mine don't stay fixed IYKWIM, and they move in response to my typing into them. I have applied for jobs myself, where the application form they send has fields/boxes for typing in, but the format does not move when typed into.
Is there a specific program that will do this please? Or some way to create something in Word that can be made permanent, regardless of the info applicant enters on it?
I have a program to covert docs to PDF, but the recipient can only print and handwrite these, not type and email back.
Any advice much appreciated, thank you

You can create PDFs where the recipient can type into them (even with just Acrobat Reader software), but it's not that straightforward to do.1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?0 -
I would use excel and lock all cells except the ones that they can type into, you can probably do the same with word and tables, but I don't have my Windows machine with me to check how. But of course that means the recipients have to have an "Office" suite.4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex . Do search for pdf form builder or HTML form builder, some are free, but a lot you have to buy or pay monthly fee (especially adobe).
Could use the html option and convert to pdfMansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0 -
Would an online form be an option?
