Stopping flashing images ipad

Hi you clever people! I can't manage flashing or moving icons in forums, before i was able to press shift to freeze them on every page on my laptop so at least could read a page. But can't seem to do this on ipad!

Have tried searching but can't find a reference to this, currently typing on ipad with paper covering the box with moving icons! Any ideas be most welcome. Dont want to give up on this site but can't cope as trigger migraines!

I'm reading this on an iPad 2 - which moving icons/flashing images? I can't see any ....

Animated GIFs, I think your referring to. They're rendered by the browser, so you could try a different browser? I'm not that awar eof what's on offer in iThing world

Some people can't post without a string of these each time, which makes reading boards difficult.

Thanks will try different web browser but as they are meant to move and flash not hopefully! Just thought as laptop you could press shift to keep them still might be similar short cut.

Changing browser won't stop this. Go to User CP, Edit Options and uncheck Show Images then Save Changes
