It doesn't work like that. If you have £1k each on two cards, both as 25%, that doesn't make £2k at 50%. It's £2k at 25%.

They could, but in practice, it would be unusual for a customer to decline it. You've already had the impact if a search, so if you don't accept, your chances of getting a better or even similar deal are slightly reduced (notwithstanding different credit limit policies acoss lenders).

Bottom line is that you're in a better place than you were. You could try another application elsewhere to transfer the remainder.

Leave it a few months and apply for another 0% card to cover the rest but use a pre checker to see the likely hood of acceptance. Rather than applying blindly.

If you call the PO they will confirm to you when your 0% runs out
