This has been a nightmare :mad:

I bought a Currys Essentials Tabletop Dishwasher in February 2013, so still under warranty.

Reported a fault in the beginning of August 2013 - it was rusting around the salt-in hole where the plastic goes in.

They farmed out the work to a local engineer who never answers the phone I think he must be a one-man band, also never returns calls when you leave a voicemail. He eventually came on the 14th August 4.30pm for appointment to take report that took 5 mins.

Heard nothing for a while after numerous messages left with the engineer who never called back, and currys who promise calls back and do not.

Eventually was told currys didnt believe it would rust, and engineer had to come take pictures to send to currys (so obvious the fault its brown rust all round the area!! ) So another day off work and he came to take photos around the end of August/beginning sept I think that was, and he sent photos to currys.

So the problem is back with Currys.

Now this is where I can get noone to do anything or even talk to me on whats happening, EVERYTIME I call currys I get someone will call you back as they had no answers, left loads of messages in the nearly 4 weeks, spent on phone calls as the questions you haveto answer before you get through to someone takes ages, I give them my direct work number and home number so no excuss not to ring me, 3 days ago I emailed customer services and no reply yet. Everytime I call its the same.

Now the engine is going as its very noisy I have to turn it off, makes squelly noise. A right Lemon!!

Its under warranty, noone is answering me, over a month now since the 1st appointment 14th August.

I have had dishwashers for about 20 years and all in past lasted over 8 years.

Even thou I would never buy a home brand again as awful service, I just want a replacement or refund.

Getting frustrated now as Ive more things to do instead of chasing this each week. Wrong to promise phone calls each time I ring and they dont.

I cant see what the problem with them is, its obvious from the photos its rusting, now the engine is going I emailed them a sound file to on that as that didnt happen when they first came.

What can I do if I get no answer soon???

It is dragging on so long, and just being ignored.
