  • Hello everyone, I love reading this post everyday, it really helps motivate me.

    Today I have done/will
    • Dinner leftovers for lunch, second day doing this and I'm sure it will be the same tomorrow
    • Bought only the three items on my shopping list on my lunch break, it's really handy being able to go to the market for fresh vegetables and it's cheaper
    • Make enough dinner for me to have leftovers for lunch tomorrow
    • Pencil in some dates to book off to use up my 9 days of holiday before the end of the year, they will be spent at home not going anywhere except to see family

Apologies for any spelling mistakes, I'm doing this on my phone!

  • Afternoon lovelies!!

Thanks for starting us DNMS... Loving the kick-!!! attitude - definitely the way forward when the only way is manic!! Keep positive and don't lose sight of what's important, no matter how crazy work gets ;)

So, I've just woken up after sleeping off my night shift... Time to get cracking!!

    Today's list:

    :) Quick shower

:) Take remaining clothes to Charity Shop (will get nectar points for any sold)

:) Washing on quick wash and dry outside/just inside balcony doors if weather stays fine

:) Run down to pool and do a quick mile swim on membership - thinking I need a day off training tomorrow - body is aching!!

:) Dinner from stores by the time OH gets home from work - got some nice lemon sole fillets from Lidl, so will have that with some peas and beetroot from allotment

    :) Heating can stay off

:) Rugby training later - free exercise and social!! I will definitely be taking advantage of a free massage from the Physio and have a catch up with the girls. Shower and get ready for work up the club.

:) Night shift again tonight, will take food and drinks in for the road

    :) Finalise October's budget

:) Shop around for travel insurance

:) Quick go at Nectar Adpoints

:) Resister Shell Drivers Card as tend to fill the work cars at Shell, so might as well get the points!!

:) Charge phone in work car tonight

    :) No Spend Day!!

    That's all folks!!

Lovely to see the thread busy again today - agree that it's such a great way to stay focus and motivated on the little things that make big differences!! And there's always so many fab ideas and info! Thanks lovely Money-Savers!!!
