Ladylucks family OS journey!

Options
Since joining the forum in July I've been lurking in OS quite a bit!

It's something's that has always appealed to me but moreso now I have a family.
You're a lovely bunch in here so I think I will make this my forumy home :D

Here's our story, why I'm here and basically a little journal really. Can I put that in here?

Hi, I'm C.
We are a family of 3 (very soon to be 4!) my husband works as a baker but doesn't get paid very well and I'm currently a stay at home mum to my son who is 3 in November. Baby girl due in November too!
Expensive winter time for us!
We've just seen our income fall quite a bit and whilst trying to get debt free I am trying the OS ways to reduce our outgoings.

I am VERY keen to be less 'material' about things in general especially Christmas, although I love Christmas I think there is too much money pressure!
I'd like to start doing more outdoorsy things with my son as we plan to start a little grow your own project soon.

My challenges over the next couple of months are;

Declutter and sell anything we don't need/use.
Start October grocery challenge with a budget of £90!
Start grow our own project.
Using more homemade cleaning products.

Again Sorry if this is in the wrong section!
Hope everyone is having a good day :)

There is a Christmas board with lots of ideas for home made gifts, which is well worth a read

    Hi Ladyluck1,

We don't have individual diary threads on Old Style as if everyone started one it would make it difficult for others to find the moneysaving advice that they need.

MSE Andrea has said that the best place to post Old Style diary threads is the How much have you saved? board so I have moved your thread over there. Good luck! :)
