Best Interest!

Saving is a rather new concept for me, but I am determined to give it a serious go! :T

I am really not up on what is the best saving rates, so can someone recommend a decent saving account where I can deposit up to £200 - £300 per month.

A few pointers...

• I might need urgent access to funds but this is not 'that important'
• I can bank online / do transfers
• Minimum starting payment to be £100
• Credit history, is currently poor, am slowly improving it!
• I hold basic accounts now with Halifax and Lloyds

Consider regular savings accounts too, as at http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/best-regular-savings-accounts

Watch out for withdrawal restrictions if you need easy access but they offer better interest rates than pretty much any other type of saving account and appear well suited to your circumstances as described above....
