cannot scroll down Pages !!!

Hi Guys,
Hope you can help out please, if its any help i am running windows XP and my web browser is Google Chrome. I am having a problem with scrolling down pages that i open up, they just keep flashing back to the top of the page, in fact it happens on everything, even on start up. I have tried re-loading the browser, i have tried logging off and back on, i have even tried clearing my cache, it will work for maybe 5 mins, then back to not being able to scroll down. Has anyone a solution for this problem please

no real idea on chrome, but I would empty my cache then set my cache to 0 and see what that does. You probably will not notice the difference.

if it works longer that the 5 mins above, I would track the cache file down and rename it, or the directory - however I do not know chrome so please read between the lines here and use common sense

Have you tried another mouse? - I had a similar problem and it turned out to be a faulty switch inside the mouse.
