Good budget sander for skirtings

Anyone used or have experience with a good sander for stripping paint from skirting boards ready to re paint? Being lazy the quicker the better etc.

  • Thanks keystone, anything you've used with power to it? I prefer to get jobs done in less than a year lol, think my arm would fall off before I finished a room with that

Actually they are very quick. I seldom use a power sander but rely on one of those almost exclusively.

Your knees will give out long before your arms do.

Is that not just a sign of old age. :rotfl:

I have the Bosch version of this and have to agree, it is the best piece of equipment you can buy. It has so many uses and is a must have for any keen DIYer.

I know exactly what you mean. Mine stopped working the other day just as I was in the middle of renovating the bathroom. I was gutted and felt like giving up on my project.

Luckily, it was just a blown fuse. :j
