Hi , I've got a set of DVD'S with lots of books on for kindle, but I don't know how to transfer them from the disc to the kindle, I've downloaded winrar but dont know how to transfer them to my kindle, do I need CALIBRE as well.
I thought that I just copied them and pasted them into the kindle documents file- that's what I did before.

If it's one of the colour Kindles you can download a programme like File Expert and pull them from your computer.
I can provide more detailed instructions if needed. We have done this for photos.0 -
No it's not a colour kindle0

In that case I can't help I'm afraid. Sorry !0

DVD has files ending .mobi? (May look like little blue books?)
Copy & paste into kindle's Documents subdirectory.
If DVD has not got .mobi but has .epub then you need Calibre just to change the file format. Then copy & paste.
All the best!0 -
Are these DVD's 'genuine'?
As above, what format? ePub won't read on a Kindle. No free lunch, and no free laptop
