Any roofers know how long it would take to resit ridge tiles re point chimney stack replace a few loose tiles replace lead flashings. Is this going to take a day or a few weeks. Its a two bed semi so not a huge roof or chimney.

Best to post a pic if you can.
But an average semi should be no more than 2/3 days work. Get 2/3 quotes and the price can depend on your location.

Quite. You may need scaffolding though - particularly for the chimney. Don't let anyone palm you off with just "repointing" ridge (or hip for that matter) tiles. The repointing will fail very quickly. They must come off and be rebedded.

Oh and if you can see 20 tiles that need replacing from ground level be certain that there will be around 60 that need doing. Standard rule of thumb that - nothing scientific about it.
