update re. VirginMoney and MBNA

anyone know what is happening with VirginMoney and MBNA? The VirginMoney credit card is currently 26months at 0% whereas the MBNA card is 24months....so Virgin is currently the better deal.

but is it still possible to port CL across from an MBNA card to Virgin?

the card is still MBNA backed:

  • You can port across but expect a credit limit reshuffle when doing so

ok, good. but it might be that if you ask to move the bulk of the 8k to the 5k card to increase the value of your BT, they look to lower the overall 13k
