Barclays - 2 x User ID's

I have held a Barclays Cash Account for approx. 8 months now, with no issues.
I applied online for the Barclays Bank Account and received my sort code & account number, but the account isn't showing on my online banking.
It turns out that I have a brand new customer ID, I've logged in and all's fine with the account.
Should I now close down my Barclays Cash account and transfer everything over to my Barclays Bank account? Different staff in Barclays have said different things, I'm just worried if I close my cash account, they'll close down my new current account.
Also - it's showing a £10 overdraft, is this normal?

I would recommend calling Barclays and asking them to reconcile the two records they hold for you. That way, both accounts should appear in Online Banking.
Having a second card account can be extremely useful, especially if you encounter any problems using your debit card. E.g. the cash machine swallows your card. You would then have another card that you could use in emergencies to get access to your cash.Please call me 'Kazza'.0
