Help needed to offer a without prejudice settlement

I, like many, have ignored all communication from Parking Eye and now have a County Court claim form in my hand.
It relates to an overstay in a free car park back in February.
Unfortunately I binned all correspondence as I received them so am in possession of no paperwork other than the Claim Form and am unsure as to the length of overstay.
This may upset some people on here but I do consider myself 'guilty as charged' and am prepared to offer a settlement. However, I am unsure how to make the offer. I have read on previous threads that LazyDaisy will be posting a 'without prejudice' offer guide, but so far I haven't seen it.
The Claim Form suggests that I can settle by paying the £100 claimed plus a court fee of £15 plus solicitor's costs of £50 totalling £165.
I feel this is a bit much. How can I ask to get this reduced?
Any help will be very much appreciated.

PE won't take anything less than the £165. The only way to reduce it is to continue challenging PE at every step until it comes down to zero. When you say "guilty as charged", guilty of what? PE have no interest in the land you overstayed on, how can you possibly owe them a bean?
How about taking it up with the landowner, and making them an offer, it's them who may (or would not) have made a loss due to your overstay.0 -

Not True
I have helped many people with PE defences and they have decided that once the initial defence is in they dont wish or cant continue, they then did an email to parking eye "with out prejudice save to costs" offering £60 and this has been accepted on quite a few occasion.Proud to be a member of the Anti Enforcement Hobbyist Gang.:D:T0 -

I wonder if you wouldn't mind elaborating a bit please.
How, where and what sort of wording?
Would I have to reply to the court that I'll be defending?
Many thanks.0 -
All you need to do in order to find threads about that pathetic [STRIKE]bribe[/STRIKE] offer by PE would be to search the parking forum for the keyword 'prejudice'.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

If you don't want the hassle, send me £100 and tell them that I was driving and I will deal with it on your behalf.0

You make it sound as though it's worthwhile fighting.
However, the car park in question isn't just round the corner so I'm not really in a position to take photos of the signage.
This happened in February, so I'm doubtful if I can get the land owners/stores to agree to waiver the charge.
I also have disposed of the correspondence so cannot fight on the grounds of non-compliant notices.
That's why I feel the best way forward is to get out as cheaply as possible.
If anybody can offer guidance with regard to the correct way forwards without dropping myself further in it, then I'd be grateful.0 -

Most of the successful complaints in this sticky thread were many, many MONTHS after the parking event - some from 2012 incidents and (like you) only complained about when the person had just recently been served with court papers by Parking Eye.

Many of those posters had to be talked by us into complaining, as they thought they had no chance after so long ignoring it. Then (look at those threads) fast forward a week and they were cheerfully reporting the ticket had been cancelled! Read them, read the PE ones, especially the five which were cancelled in the last few weeks after court papers.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
