Hi
I currently had quite a few pictures on my Iphone which I would like to save onto an External hard drive which I bought but unsure how to do this. I use a Macbook pro so as soon as I sync it to Iphoto the pictures automatically transfer to Iphoto. I would like to have a backup and remove from the Iphone as recently iphoto deleted all my pictures.
However when I try find these photos in the Iphoto folder (going into finder etc), the individual photo files do not seem to be there for me to copy and paste to the external harddrive?
When I plug my phone into my Work Windows PC (via USB) I can export/view/save the individual picture files in the normal file format and just copy it onto my Windows Desktop etc. However I am not allowed to bring an external hard drive into work, so can only do it on my Macbook.
Any points would be appreciated!!
Thanks

If you can see the photos in iPhoto itself then you can simply drag them from the app to the target drive/ folder (rather than going into Finder and looking for them there)0
