    Morning Monday money-savers,
    Today's positive small MSE things:
*Laundry done overnight on Economy 7 tariff, 30 deg, half powder. Done.
*Bucket of handwashing & spun it, rather than running whole cycle again. Done.
*Everything line-drying minus rain at the moment. Ongoing.
*Rubber chicken. All divvied up, 4 days worth of dinners plus 2 packed lunches. Done.
*Everything for chicken stock prepared ready to put in slow cooker overnight on Economy 7. Done.
*Golden lentil soup bubbling away in the slow cooker (using forgotten about ham stock from depths of freezer) Done.
    *Make tomorrow's packed lunch.
*Sort out all the apples picked yesterday. Wrap best ones individually in newspaper to store. Done.
*Use the good parts of the mankiest ones for making apple & mint jelly.
*Use the good parts of the next mankiest ones for making apple sauce for the freezer.
    *Enter 6 competitions. Half-done.
*Keep checking to see if Debenhams customer services have responded to my complaint. (Not yet, will look later)
*Go through today's post & remove anything recyclable.....a clean blank envelope, 2 plastic bags to use as freezer bags & some clean-on-one-side A4 paper which I cut up to make phone/kitchen notepads, etc. Done.
    *Carry on knitting Christmas present.
Had intended to pack away my summer clothes too, but as I'm still armpit-deep in apples, I'll be quite pleased if I just finish this list.
Have a good start to the week, everyone.

:) Check online banking and start my FD regular saver!! Exciting!!

:) Transfer Birthday money into Holiday Fund and Savings.

:) Get OH set up with FD - that's £250 they're GIVING us just for opening accounts with them - winner!!

:) Washing on quick wash - dry outside in the sunshine

:) Put ironing away that OH did last night :A

:) 30-day Shred workout and abs challenge - not sure how successful this will be as my biddy is in bits after rugby yesterday!!

:) Nectar Adpoints - have been rubbish on this lately - need to catch up!!

    :) Swagbucks

:) Put £15 diesel in the car to last until payday on Friday as it's my turn driving to work

:) Working night shift - take grub and drinks to prevent unhealthy and un-MSE snacking!!

:) Clean and wax car at work later if it is relatively quiet - although going by the last week or so doubt I'll get chance!!

:) Cheapo pizza tea with rocket from the allotment

Think that's about it - hope everyone has a productive Monday!! Keep smiling!!!

a bit late to today but oh well...

i haven't really achieved anything as i have been sleeping off a nightshift. which is actually really good as it means we are having a nsd.

    plan for today:
    * read at least two diaries on here for inspiration - done.
    * spend nothing (well i have, my oh went flying today) - failed but only because i bought OH a reward for putting in his CVs.
    * convince oh to put his bloody cv into an airline - not only succeeded but he put it into four different companies, and a very kind soul from here has offered us help as well.
    :D

not many today but seeing as i have been sleeping all day, there isn't much to achieve.

looking forward to the october step up challenge. i think i am going to go for that. then i will have a whole list of things to achieve everyday.

It's NSD 8 for me yay!
    Today I have-
-taken meter readings and uploaded them to the site.
-switched energy suppliers which will mean a saving of £14 a month. We will be paying an early get out fee of £50 but if it means we willsave in the long run I'm not too fussed.
    - put the towels on to wash for hanging out tomorrow as will be a nice day.
    - made tea for me and kids from leftover pork and have some leftover to take to work.
-rewrote the shopping lists for the month.
    -meal planned
-took DS to a new toddler group which he loved and first session was free!

All in all a good day

    Hello :j
Better late than never I suppose :o

I commute and work long hours and don't often get on here till about now :(

So not a very impressive list I am afraid :o

Washing on line before work (though it didn't dry much, so it is now on the airer indoors)

Read news free online and free paper on train

Packed lunch to work, made own coffee to avoid buying any

Continued to dry courgettes in the dehydrator when I am here to keep an eye on it (it is an old and cheap one, but works ok). Put some chillis in as well now :)

OH cooked supper, as he was at home. Roast chicken and trimmings :D

Rest of chicken in fridge for other meals, left over gravy in freezer.

Registered for online banking for new account

    Checked ebay items for sale

    Off to bed soon!
  • Haha looks like a lot of us were running late today x
