Do TSB still use Lloyds Credit Policy Decline (CPD) markers?

As the thread title says really.

For some reason my current account with Lloyds TSB had a 'Credit Policy Decline' marker (despite a clean credit history etc and credit card/overdraft being offered by Natwest where my other current account is held).

Now I have been moved over to the new TSB do they still have/use this same CPD marker that the cashiers can see? I so rarely get into my branch to find out personally, I thought I would ask here.

Thanks

Ian

No reason why they'd do things any differently.

However bearing in mind that one is keeping the RTB system, and the other isn't (I think TSB is, but the rest of the group isn't), this may change next year.

Have you got a CPD marker on Loans,Overdrafts & credit cards or just one of them?

I am not sure to be honest. When I opened an ISA in branch with them last year, the chap opening the ISA asked if I would like 'anything else' but then said he was sorry but I had the CPD marker so I couldn't be offered credit. He too was baffled why I had the marker as I had never had any problem operating my existing current account with them (plus I had a credit card and overdraft facility with Natwest).

When I worked at LSTB many eons ago, a CPD or Credit Policy Decline marker restricted customers on all credit. That is, all overdrafts, credit cards and loans (and mortgages) would be declined.
Whilst my posts do not constitute financial advice, I am always, without fail, 100% right! :D

Things have changed since you worked there now you can have a CPD on 1 lending product or a CPD on all lending products .

Many posters have overdrafts and credit cards with lloyds and when they ask for a loan they've been told you're CPD on this particular lending product.

CPD 99 you'll find is banning you from all lending products.
