Hi
I have a Garmin Nuvi 2595 sat nav & would like to turn the screen touchtones off if possible.
Can anybody advise me how to do this. I have looked through the manual but cannot find any info on them.
Many thanks.

I don't think you can do this on the car sat navs. I have never seen the option on my Garmin.0

I've asked Garmin previously and had a response that you can't disable the tones on any of the 2xxx series. An update may fix this but on the 3xxx and above you can.Always get a Qualified opinion - My qualifications are that I am OLD and GRUMPY:p:p0

The volume control is under the Where To? magnifying glass symbol on the opening window. This will turn off the touch tones but I don't know if it will also turn the spoken directions off also. In this Youtube video you can see the volume button when the guy turns the satnav on. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WMNy4yW89JM0

Muting or using the volume control also affects any spoken directions.glosman555 wrote: »The volume control is under the Where To? magnifying glass symbol on the opening window.
