I'm sure you know the sTory
I had a really good credit history until I used it when I was with my ex to get some things on payment plan.
We split up, he agreed to pay a. Per separation agreement. He missed several payments, defaulted on mortgage etc and now my credit rating is so bad I can' even get a bank account with minimal overdraft.
I previously had trouble access my credit file as I couldn't give them my correct detail. Apparently. I am currently in process of paying off several debts so question is : do I check my credit fIle now or do I wait till I have paid off a few more debts?
Thanks

You can apply for credit reports from the 3 agencies for £2 each or sign up with noddle, which is part of call credit and get a free for life report. Granted it doesn't always get updated as often as experian but I use noddle and for a freebie to check what's outstanding it's good xxxDebt free finally :j
