Problems transferring balances from Virgin credit cards

Hi ; I've just applied to Lloyds TSB for their interest free credit card and been accepted - I applied so I could transfer a balance from my Virgin 0% card as I missed a payment date by 2 days and lost all the benefits , but Lloyds tell me that they're having loads of problems with Virgin cards and changed card numbers that means the transfer fails.
Anyone else experienced this and if so , is there anything that can be done about it?
Cheers

There are several threads about this, i believe that virgin changed there account numbers and there is an underlying change with the actual card issuer (mbna) changing. Therefore some people have had issus making payments and BT'ing.
I suggest phoning virgin and saying you want to BT off and need to correct account numbers to enable lloyds to do this.
Then phone lloyds up with the info.
