My husband and I have £30,000 from sale of house is ISA best place for it. I am disabled and on DLA and incapacity benefit. Life has been a struggle especially last few years my husband has been my carer but needs to get back to work as being at home is affecting his mental health.
What do you think is best place for money. I dont want it to dwindle away.My husband 51 i am 55.

£30 k could affect your benefits and his BTW .Do you have any debts you could pay off or maybe buy a new car and keep your mobility money instead of a mobi car if you have one . Being a few grand above the threshold for benefits is a difficult one as you will lose alot of what your entitled to if you could get it down . (you cant just give it away ) ISA is tax protected and good for some money for both of you but its still mean tested for benefits good luck:cool: hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world :cool:0
