My wife wants a printer.
We haven't had one in years so no idea whats best and looking for some recommendations
Main requirements:
Be able to print onto thin card (birthday card thickness)
Cheapish Ink (Seperate colours)
Photo capability
Wireless
Don't really have a budget so will consider anything if it does everything I want.
Thanks

Pointless saying thin card (like cards), as a lot of card tend to about 180gsm or more and a lot of printers can not handle that.
Most can go upto 160gsm if your lucky, which is essentially heavy paper.
So is it going to used a lot for card makingMansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0 -
As above, you need to specify the gsm you need to feed through it.
And the usage required (approx how many impressions per month)?
Size-A4/A3?
But if a4 I'm thinking a 6 colour Canon or Epson photo printer.
No inkjets are cheap to run-for that you'd need a colour laser, which won't take heavier stock. No free lunch, and no free laptop

To add to what the others have said.
Some years ago I had a printer that would print onto card but there was a slot feed on the back of the printer so the card passed through from the back to the front under the print heads without having to bend round the rollers.
I have to say that I haven't seen anything like it for a long time but that may be simply because it's not something I'm interested in.One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0 -
Many printers allow you to feed manually from the back, but it's often a fiddle to do so.No free lunch, and no free laptop
