Does anyone know how to sell certificated shares listed on the Zurich stock exchange? I've tried a few dealers/brokers but no success.

I'd be interested to know how to go about this as well.
I have some shares in an Australian oil company.Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0 -

I got some Australian shares which I got from buying on AIM and withdrew certs. I looked up ways to sell them and came across TD Waterhouse which allows Australian shares to be deposited. (Australia don't have certs, just Issued statement of your holding.) LINK
Shagg, does the company have a form of registrars in Switzerland? Maybe it is worth contacting them?
Cheers,

Yes they do. The shares are Novartis shares. I had a share certificate issued just this year with our new address. Their best advice I got about selling them was "find a broker in the UK who can do it."0

You could email/call/write all the brokers in the UK and see if you got any response. There should be one, expensive maybe but there should be one!

Got Capita, Equitini, Computershare and TD Waterhouse on the list so far. as have dealings with them for other shares (can't do anything until Monday anyway). Hargreaves Lansdown and Lloyds don't do it, I know. Any idea where I can get a decent listing of brokers/dealers?0

Capita and Equiniti AFAIK only deal in companies for whom they are the registrars so are probably not worth bothering with0 -
