Just looking on Bzz and noticed Colour Catcher, I have seen this product before and as the laundry person in my house with endless amounts to do (4 girls make hard work for Dad/Husband) I wondered if anyone had used it as it may be a good shout for those last bits that dont fit the normal colour coding or if there is not enough for a full load?

    TIA...x

I mix colours and whites because I don't have a lot washing and I put a colour catcher sheet in the wash :) I swear by them :D

Some peeps have had problems the colour catcher sheet getting stuck think in the outlet pipe.

Ahh, I do that one...where you let them know how many items were delivered and mis-delivered...i get £10 in Love2Shop vouchers, maybe join 6 monthly ones per year...Wife loves it when I bring them home ;)

I used to do the daily assigments where you post the SMART cards but lost my way and couldnt be bothered...so they rang me, told me off and asked me to send all my stock back...oops :o

I also do Nectar AdPoints...racked up £20 now...which paid for a new coat for youngest DD this very morning!

Ok so LYB...anyone fancy furnishing me with that one?

They are the Body Shop cards that you "buy" for £5 to get glitches to work favourably. You then complain that they haven't arrived a couple of weeks later and get them refunded, they then arrive a week or two after that and you can use them to get random birthday presents when you see something for £5 that you fancy in the store :D Seriously though they sometimes run buy 2 get 2 free, but the cards go through as the ones you buy and the expensive gift sets come free.

    Insurance question!
I need to get buildings insurance for our maisonette and the flat below. Our usual supplier wants £500 for the year. (Insuring at £200,000)

I just wondered what others pay, and if anyone has a similar arrangement? I have looked around and unless you class it as one house I can't find anyone that does it.
    Help please? :o
    Thanks for reading :)

Why are you insuring at £200,000? You insure for the rebuild cost not the resale value. Have a word with an agent like A-Plan or some such, we pay around £200 for ours, contents and buildings, £500,000 rebuild (that is their minimum) and £60,000 contents. Also worth playing with your excess.

  • I do Nectar Adpoints (paid for a soup maker), Argentuil (sic), Pinecone, Tesco, and Buzz, and I have got the Finest trial too:T:T:T

I have just noticed something interesting. When I open up the thread on my lappie after previously reading on my tab it goes to the last post I read, and vice-versa :)

  • do people realy split washing in to piles i shove it all in apart from towels and bedding that i wash on a very high temp;)

    and o/h socks:eek::rotfl::rotfl:

iv never had anything run on me touch wood lol but i tend not to buy red clothes kids just have welsh tops that are red so i dnt worry bout it lol:o

I actually love to get through the laundry, my children know that Saturday day time is laundry (the wife and I both work in the week) and then Sat evening is with the kids, Sunday day is out and Sunday evening is family movie night...anyways...

I always sort into whites, darks, pinks and blues...but theres always the greens and yellow which dont seem to match a prescribed category...it just sits at the bottom of the basket until I get cross with it and shove it all in on a quick wash...

So you literally bung anything with anything? My girls are all at school so 1001 white polo shirts with their 90% pink wardrobe would go down well...Im a batcher and Im proud...

    Crikey, Im 28yo, a father of 3 and I love batching laundry...eek!

It's all kicking off again next door

Child screaming, parents screaming even louder. Something (probably a door) goes bang, everything goes quiet and suddenly it all kicks off again

Deaf neighbours really aren't much fun :(
