    cost 18p
    300% mark up is 72p = 54p profit
    is it not.
come on then show me my error:o

300% mark up to 72p =54p profit Correct

    54p profit on a 72p sale is only 75% profit though ;)

    Woohoo

Got womble total over £200! 12+today, mostly because of the 10% no surprises.

Been putting it in a sealed tin so nice surprise at xmas

Well done:T:T. Regarding the surprise at :xmassign:, don't wait too long though as the expiry date of the APG vouchers is up in 28 days. However, as you're a regular, I'm sure you already know that very well!:) Or maybe you are using the GC 'trick'? Wombles onto GCs. [Edit: Ah, it's now been explained (above) - you put the money equivalent into the tin! (I'd never have more actual cash to put there though, not on top of my vouchers which act as much as cash in my As. All of my 'cash' is invested away, in the right places, and the rest to pay the bills etc.)]

You can enter APG receipts in, but don't have to claim the vouchers until later. So if you've not actually generated the vouchers, you can return up to 28 days after the shopping on the receipt was done, enter your details to claim the voucher and have 28 days from then to spend the voucher (or get it onto a GC:D). Assuming the receipts are dated today, you may have up to 23 November to spend the vouchers, if you wait four weeks to generate them for the very first time and cut it very fine also! I think the risk is if any of the items on the receipt go off a.com/msm in the meantime (and especially if that then brings the total number of diff. grocery items to under 8). Any triggers on the receipts should still not appear on the comparison, although as usual I cannot guarantee anything!:D:)

    Oh...waffled on..:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::(

Just back from A (well, half an hour ago, after I've written the above intro.!) and 3 wombles plus own shop back. Liked the wombles (or I did initially) as they all look like just over 8 different items (don't smaller shops usually give returns?). But Savvy womble-predictor in action again tonight...and sadly I think all three of them will be nil return.

First one...too many 50p items. Second receipt...50p items again, this time those ruddy biscuits (obviously they don't know they should have shopped in T? Amazing how much people pay over the odds), the micro burgers will be non-comp, the Cadbury Twinpot is way too dear everywhere (will add 7.8p to the APG but that won't mitigate matters and it'll be minus figure, i.e. no APG, I think) - sadly I missed Sains finishing on 2 for £1 a month or so ago on them myself - the Weetabix they bought is too cheap, and the other items, probably a bit cheaper in A not by 10% but won't make a positive APG. (I hope I'm wrong!) Third receipt - cheap £1 items (obviously much too dear a price for me, but you know what I mean - not cheaper, or much more expensive, elsewhere) and 'cheap' (for [Strike]them[/Strike]:D most of the public) dog treats.

The only receipt I think will give anything is my own - a very good shop! (I hope!) Another faff at till though - put my items on the conveyor (carefully separating the different flavour yogurts to force them to scan each separately;)), I knew I was about £2 short of my voucher value. (Isn't it always £2?:D) So I went away (with permission of the customer behind me) - my problem is I find it hard to spend enough:rotfl::rotfl:- and got some Choc Sundaes vs S - to make up the £2 - ....but are the ones at S much lower weight and hence non-comp.? (I hadn't checked them properly before I left.) But come back and...yes:j each 140g A and S on msm!

Managed to find the last Coconut Mist in stock in the store. Also picked up the final two Dermo Repairs from the shelf (and none 'up above'):rotfl::rotfl:. But they were out of Strawberry Activias, so had to mix from three flavours. They had no power scourers though:( - hence the £2 shortfall. Of course I'd decided to take my largest voucher rather than the two smaller ones ('smaller' being £7+ each:D:rotfl::rotfl:). We shall see...it'll all come out in the wash!:) Fingers crossed the Bath Repairs compare the way wanted, and hoping the others do too. Managed to find the 25p pear slices packs - or rather a single pear slices pack - that was the last one left too:rotfl::rotfl:(did really well there didn't I? - timed it just right) - found them all gone the time before, but didn't count them tonight as being one of my 8 items as they only show logged in for me and I'm a bit doubtful (not sure why) that they'll appear on APG. So, eight different items after I've excluded the Coconut mist (and also excluded the pear slices, though I don't need to do that).
  • Sealed pot.

Oooooh I Might start doing this between starting October - dec see how much I can make :)

I always feel embarrassed picking up receipts so tend to go for the ones left in trolleys
I love waking up and not knowing what the day will bring.

Hiya Emmap, When we get a womble we put the money in a savings tub but spend the apg, hope that makes sense x

Can't you boost that a bit eg go to self scan or anywhere else for that matter, explain that you are wombling for a good cause and can you grab a load of thrown away receipts?

In my A the bin at self scan is always chocka with receipts.
  • is the coco spray still a trigger.. bought a shop tonight.. with a vo5 shampoo and conditioner but the shampoos have come up at £2 each not 3.98

Sorry: you got the wrong V05s, I did that too at the beginning.

    What did you buy?

Problem with self scan is that they tend to be too short for good apgs
