Interesting day shopping.Went to sada to do a bit of ordinary shopping.Went to the security desk about the wombling. He said he had not been informed so I showed him newbie1980 email.OK he said.So I did my shopping but lost my nerve a bit and only wombled one receipt and £12 worth of chobani coupons left in the trolleys.Good they are, they don't run out till dec2014.Look out for them visiting your store.I went back to do a glitchy shop at 6oclock.Only picked up one and got pounced on by security. He said that he wanted to see the letter.I flattered him up a bit by saying that there is not much to be made out of it because sada were cheaper in most cases and the trolley boys were very efficient which is true, well partly. He said to carry the email on me at all times.I think that maybe I will have to use some of the apgs in another shop.Got to slow down anyway because running out of room.I've got 22 boxes of car booty in my cellar and 5 banana boxes of books under a bed.
I just hope I haven't messed up my shop.

Cheque arrived from the nappies today.
  • Thanks - I'll wait for that then before venturing out into the consumer jungle that is big A next town along :D

Sorry I've been sorting the Kids.

Moisturising rado still working as a trigger at my shop done at 4pm
  • Must tell you a story - met JEL today at the carpark......we chatted for hours while my little DD ran around getting trolley £1. When she had collected a couple of quid she went into sada and bought a coke and smarties for herself and a freddo each for meself and JEL. She had not been asked to do this.

Anyway, she herself noticed how she had been overcharged on the two freddos and she has just been back to get her overcharge of 6p and £2 gift card!!!

2x JFs should be vs "Any 2 for £7" in M - probably best to get two of the same and cross your fingers it returns and with M's mbuy. Goes nicely with one other item, if you can find any one that is missing.

Look..I've got to rush out, but was thinking of getting a "Grand National" type list up - not as fun, but a list of the different 'brands' in the 3 for £10 and people each to put their name against one of them to check whether any of that brand are missing from the 3 for £10 as there's so much it'll take ages and ages for one person... (someone can doubtless get such a list up in my absence over the next hour or so and I'll come back and pick one for me to look at - perhaps the JFs???!!?:D:rotfl::mad::(:rotfl:)

That said, Mr Savvy will fall for it if he ever gets time at the end of everything else...:rotfl::rotfl:

dearest john frieda is about £6 so 2 x £3 ish back at best which is okay if you are willing to over a £ a bottle each on your shampoo. I'm happy with free pantene :p

I guess they might over (say) 5-6 years but surely not after 2-3 years or they'd have some kind of sell by date on them (which they do't).

    Expiration Dates for Beauty Products

You know your makeup and skin-care items won't last forever, but for how long are they good? Check out this guide.

•Anti-aging and acne treatments: Three months to a year. Antioxidants are easily oxidized, so be on the lookout for any changes in color.
•Body lotion: Two to three years, particularly if it’s in a pump container.
•Shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel: About three years.
    •Bath oil: One year.
•Sunscreen: Check the package for an expiration date.
•Mascara and liquid eyeliner: Three to four months. Make sure you’re diligent about replacing these items to prevent contamination and infections.
•Eye and lip pencils: Three to five years. Sharpen them before each use as a way to preserve them and keep them clean.
•Lipstick and lip gloss: Two to three years.
•Foundation: About two years. Most bottles are designed to last that long. And if you don’t use it, chances are you didn’t love it to begin with.
•Perfume: About two years. To get more mileage out of a perfume, resist the temptation to display a pretty bottle on your vanity. Instead, stash it away in a cool, dark place.
    •Nail polish: One year.
•Hairstyling products: Three to five years. Most are alcohol-based, which helps preserve the formula.
•Bar soap: Up to three years.
    •Shaving cream: About two years.
    •Deodorant: Up to two years.

    Great list squills really handy

Just a word of warning some beauty products/creams don't do so well in the attic - constant temperature changes I think. My main problems have been with the odd Boots toiletry (but I hate to think how many I have given as pressies unknowingly). Only found out when using my own stash - smelt disgusting. Mainly its the fragrance that deteriorates - or sometimes soaps crack. So try if you can to keep creams, soaps etc under the stairs, bed or bottom of wardrobe. Nail varnish etc should be ok in attic.
