  • I think the closest thing in general stock is the Catherine wheels, might have to resort to those, don't think laces would do the job even if they did have them in black (which they don't :(), Thank you anyway :)

I could have sworn they used to do the flat chews in black liquorice, have been told by a sweet shop owner that they don't anymore :( Black icing is not black enough so it needs to be something like liquorice.

    Evening all

Might work to mix your own.

In paint if I want to mix a rich black I would mix prussian blue, crimson and an earthy colour like burnt sienna (think a muddy orange).

I don't do cake decorating so not sure how colours mix but a mixture of blue, red and orange might give a richer black. Might have to play with ratios though.

Funny as we were discussing making black in this weeks class.
Blue and red make purple and the orange blackens it.

Laces sound like far less hassle though.

Yep saw lots of signage for 3 for £10s in beauty aisle but I was on a mission for the 3 for £5 :D Just took a quick peep and over 6 pages of stuff for 3 for £10 (200 plus). As you say must be something on there to be exploited - bigger returns too. Check all 3 for £10 wombles carefully folks :p

2x JFs should be vs "Any 2 for £7" in M - probably best to get two of the same and cross your fingers it returns and with M's mbuy. Goes nicely with one other item, if you can find any one that is missing.

Look..I've got to rush out, but was thinking of getting a "Grand National" type list up - not as fun, but a list of the different 'brands' in the 3 for £10 and people each to put their name against one of them to check whether any of that brand are missing from the 3 for £10 as there's so much it'll take ages and ages for one person... (someone can doubtless get such a list up in my absence over the next hour or so and I'll come back and pick one for me to look at - perhaps the JFs???!!?:D:rotfl::mad::(:rotfl:)

That said, Mr Savvy will fall for it if he ever gets time at the end of everything else...:rotfl::rotfl:
