For thoe of you talking about picking apples, how do you store them? I tried wrapping mine in newspaper and putting in a box one year, but they still turned bad.

i use plastic mushroom boxes for mine they thow them out at the market they are the right depth for one layer but then you can stack the boxes high and each apple is wrapped in kitchen roll, tried newspaper does not store as well, some varietys just dont store at all we have some eating apples that dont so the kids eat them first
but all of the cooking apples store really well.

Not sure why people getting these (Avs S) - Carte Noire refill 150g also £2 (but in M, thus Avs M). Carte Noire Ground Coffee 250g even cheaper (by weight) - in 2s Svs A or Avs T.

They were the same type though, were they the espresso?

Yes they were the same type, just the ordinary flavour. All 3 are showing for me as 2 for £6, on MSM signed out.

I haven't tried the espresso, but will give it a go as was gonna get some more anyway, but it wont be till evening time.
  • Afternoon all

Had a nice wee morning, been swimming with DD and then into town for a wander about. Just having a wee cuppa and a catch up now.

Was contemplating A's but come to the conclusion that I can not be bothered! I think a break is required after all :)
So it's you is it? I read somewhere that chlorine smells of nothing. It is only when you add wee that you get that 'swimming pool' smell:rotfl:
