Savvy any idea why another poster buying korma today got £1.74 v M? Are prices regional?

Don't think so - apart from Scotland has a different one (and N.I. doesn't have M). What else did that other person buy? It seems the total on your shop - £1.64 plus £2.12x3 = £8.00 - worked out the same as 4 for £8.00 (£2.00 each in M) and the system is just apportioning prices depending on what else is bought. I suspect the earlier poster (I haven't seen their comp., nor do I have time unfortunately to do so) bought different meals and thus the prices were apportioned differently but still added up to the same as M would have been. If so, move on:)...there's no glitch (other than the fact the T meal deal offer isn't taken into account, although that's technically not a glitch either - it's in the T&Cs)!
  • They also bought another curry which came up as £2.26. In total this makes £4 which is right. No idea why the apg came up with different prices for the 2 curries though instead of £2 each. This kind of thing comes up now and again.

That's exactly what it is - if you add up the 4 BNIs comparing to M, they total £8. Which means you'd only get £4 PP v M with your 4 kormas.

Do you have to roast them first ?

I used fresh toms the other day but it didn't taste that good.

The recipe I use calls for them to be roasted. I made some unroasted the other day too and I thought it was a bit bland :( which was a shame as we'd both had a production line going to get the skins off :rotfl:

http://nutritionella.com/2013/08/garlic-roasted-tomato-sauce/ is the recipe I'm using. Just add less garlic if required and add chillies or whatever you want, depending on taste

    I have to say, it's lush :D:D

I had a look too Flo, Pantene at £1.84 think, but nothing to give a really good return.

The pantene conditioner was 360ml the same as A but the shampoo said 500ml and I thought A was only 400ml. So seemed pretty much a wash out. Lets hope prices change at T or S before the trigger goes on msm.

Just thinking out loud: so buy 4 x kormas gives you £5.44 PP v M, sides don't matter but are effectively almost free vs doing your shop in M, don't buy 4 pint milk.

Or stick v A with the Chinese rolls still giving 50p, buy any 4 from korma, jalfrezi, sweet & sour, Chinese chicken gives PP £4.60 off £12, we can get 6 meals out of that (as my wife has decided 12 spring rolls with sweet chilli sauce makes a decent supper for her) so £7.40/6 = £1.23 a meal.

Not as good as before but not too bad a result either.

Reading back after having my dinner :)

Thanks fairclaire, Truly Madly and tinyshoes. My house has gone from having a regular stream of teenagers popping in at all times to empty in the space of a couple of days.
One funny thing happened though. My fabric softener stash went on a round trip to Nottingham. I had it in a red storage container in the hall as i was clearing out the cupboard under the stairs, but my daughter also had the same boxes packed with stuff for uni so we accidentally took it with us plus the extension lead i use when cutting the grass. Some of her friends helped to load the van and she told them to grab all the red boxes. I ended up leaving about 8 bottles for her and her new flatmates.
my daughter and bf are at nottingham and her best friend.:)
