Just caught up on thread and just wanted to say for those who find themselves having miscalculated their shopping and coming up too short to use an APG, their bags for life at 6p on the end of the tills are very useful. I've even been known to let them scan one I carry round with me incase of 'emergencies' like this as sometimes they have no bags left.
I find its better to get charged for a bag or two that can't be supplied than have to have a supervisor called because you've fallen short a few pence of using your APG and the till throws a wobbly along with the cashier!
    The end is nigh

Aaaarrgghhh. Dd1 just rang, she's locked her keys in her car. Locked out and everything!

She's off to her friends, breakdown cover expired 4 days ago, looks like a 3 hour round trip to sea side tomorrow. Good job oh off work tomorrow

I would ring them, explain the (ahem) oversight on not renewing on time, and see what they say...if she does want to renew I can't see them having a problem with it. I'm sure there's a couple of other breakdown companies that would be grateful for her custom ;) don't ask don't get and all that :)

I like it how he has his broccoli in the front bit separated from the rest of his shopping.

My best guess is that he'll eat it on the way round to avoid paying for it:eek:
