Just roasting tomatoes...my sis dropped a large carrier bag off yesterday that she's grown but won't eat..a bit past there best so into the oven they've gone...

not sure if this has been answered but if i jar sauces i always heat seal them and they will last for over a year, i do this by putting sauces in sterilised jars but dont totally tighten lids then i use a large saucepan lined with tea towel and place the jars in boiling water up to the neck. and boil i do it for about 15 mins but some people say longer, then tighten lids if using kilner type jars you can close properly before boiling i use this for apple sauce. tomato sauces and pie fillings and fruit and veg and never had any go of..0 -
